Who We Are
Established in 1997, the Alexander City Schools Education Foundation provides financial support for educational programs and technology at all five Alexander City Schools. The foundation is a nonprofit organization led by parents, teachers, local business owners and community leaders who are committed to making our school system the best that it can be. We fund programs and grants that support the needs of students and teachers in the Alexander City Schools. Programs make a difference and our programs would not exist without your support. The ACSEF will continue working every day to support teachers and help every student reach their unique potential in the Alexander City Schools.
The mission of the Alexander City Schools Education Foundation (Foundation) is to secure resources from individuals, corporations, and foundations to promote excellence in education for all students and mobilize community support for the Alexander City Schools.
Our Goals
Continue to provide supplemental funding for technology for all students
Offer Teacher Grants to support programs such as STEM, fine arts, and special needs
Sustain technology needs
To identify areas of focus to enhance student safety in Alexander City Schools
Sponsor Cultural Experiences for students K-12
To work in concert with the mission and goals of the Alexander City School system
Partner with the community to support the success of the schools, the staff and most importantly, the children
To be good stewards and accountable for how funds are managed and utilized
Share the results with stakeholders and the community
