Teacher Grants

1n the 2022-2023 school year, the ACSEF Educator Grant program awarded more than $33,000.00 to teachers at Jim Pearson Elementary, Stephens Elementary, Radney Elementary, Alexander City Middle School and Benjamin Russell High School.

The Alexander City Schools Education Foundation (ASCEF) is proud to offer the 2023-24 Educator Grant opportunity, eligible to any faculty member of the Alexander City School System.  ACSEF exists to secure resources from individuals, corporations and foundations to promote excellence and community support for our school system. We seek to provide our educators, who possess a broad vision of what it means to teach and learn, additional tools to augment their tasks.

Teacher Grant Applications

Funds are made available through the ACSEF and provide:

  • the resources needed to pursue self-designed professional learning experiences

  • grants used for an unlimited variety of projects

  • grants which create enhanced learning environments for teachers, their students and their school communities

We believe that supporting teachers’ active participation in their own professional growth, positively impacts student learning and achievement.

All faculty members wishing to apply for the ACSEF 2023 Educator Grant must submit an application and questions which may be found on this page,  to the ACSEF on or before September 29, 2023.  The ACSEF Educator Grant Committee will review applications and notify all recipients by October 31, 2023.

We are proud of our exemplary educators and are hopeful that they will explore this opportunity to enhance their teaching resources. Funding is made possible through the sale of ACSEF decals.
