Check on Education

We are excited to announce the continuation of a partnership to benefit our students attending kindergarten through community college in Alexander City. Through the Check on Education program, you can invest in our children’s future with the stroke of a pen.

Your monthly investment in our community’s future will be divided equally between the Gateway to Education Scholarship and the Alexander City Schools Education Foundation.

Through Gateway, every Benjamin Russell High School graduate will have the opportunity to attend and graduate from Central Alabama Community College free of tuition and fees. Through the Alexander City Schools Education Foundation, all K-12 classrooms will continue to have 21st Century digital learning classroom technology. Your donation will be used to update existing technology and add new equipment, giving our children experience with some of the best digital learning technology available.

We feel a strong education system is the foundation for a well-educated workforce and is essential in preparing every student, every day, to become good citizens. Won’t you give and be instrumental in shaping the lives of our boys and girls and enhance the education of every Alexander City School student?
